HOUSE RULES
1. ETIQUETTE
• Please treat the apartment, its inventory, and furniture with care. If something gets damaged or if you notice something is missing, let us know immediately so we can assist you.
• Kindly respect the privacy and peace of our neighbors and other residents.
• Entering or using areas not included in the rental is prohibited. This includes adjacent private garden areas, the main entrance, and the garages.
• Parking is only allowed in designated parking spaces.
• Bicycles must be stored in the marked areas and are not permitted inside the apartment.

2. STAY & DEPARTURE
• Arrival: from 3:00 PM
• Departure: by 10:00 AM at the latest
• Please leave the apartment broom-clean on the day of departure. Remember to wash the dishes or empty the dishwasher and return any moved furniture to its original place. Additionally, please take all brought-in food with you, including checking and clearing out the refrigerator.
3. RECYCLING
• Waste Separation: Please separate paper, glass, and general waste according to the guidelines.
• Waste Disposal: The general waste and paper bins are located near the parking area. Please dispose of your waste accordingly. Glass waste should be taken to the designated recycling containers, which are a 3-minute walk away at Arbinger Straße 2–4, 83209 Prien am Chiemsee.
• Keep the rooms as clean and tidy as possible.
• Do not dispose of food scraps in the toilet.
4. KITCHEN
• The kitchen is, of course, available for your use. Please clean dishes, pots, and utensils after use.
• Handle all appliances with care and attention.
5. FIRE & SMOKE
• Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. However, you are welcome to smoke on the terrace, where an ashtray is provided.
• To ensure safety, please avoid using candles or open flames.
HOW TO / INSTRUCTION MANUALS
DOOR - LOCKING SYSTEM
1. Enter your personal code and open the door.
2. Close the door and push the upper handle upwards (click).
1. To lock from the outside, press the arrow on the keypad.
3. To lock from the inside, press the button in the center.
3. To open from the inside, press the button in the center again.

COFFEE
PREP
• Fill the Water Tank: Open the water tank and fill it with fresh water up to the maximum fill line. Securely place the tank back in its position.
• Turn On the Machine Press the button on top of the machine. The buttons will blink while the machine heats up. In about 25 seconds, it will be ready for use, and the lights will stay on.
BREW IT UP
• Insert the Capsule: Lift the lever, place a Nespresso capsule in the capsule chamber, and lower the lever to close the chamber.
• Place the Cup: Put a cup on the drip tray below the spout.
• Select Coffee: Press the desired button for Espresso (small cup) or Lungo (large cup). The coffee will flow automatically into your cup and stop when the preset amount is reached.
• Dispose of the Capsule: Lift the lever again to automatically drop the used capsule into the capsule container.
AFTER USE
• Turn Off the Machine: The machine will automatically turn off after 9 minutes. You can also turn it off manually by holding the button for 3 seconds.
• Empty the Capsule Container: If needed, empty the capsule container and the drip tray.
CLEANING
• Empty the Water Tank: Drain the water from the tank if the machine will not be used for an extended period.
• Wipe Down: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth.
• Descaling: To ensure optimal performance, the machine should be descaled regularly. Descaling is only necessary for longer stays and will be indicated by blinking lights. Please contact us if this is needed.
WEBER Q GRILL
PREP
• Check the gas cylinder: Ensure the gas cylinder is connected and contains enough gas.
• Secure the grill area: Make sure the grill is placed on a level, stable surface and is at least 1 meter away from flammable materials.
• Open the lid: Before lighting the grill, open the lid to avoid gas build-up.
• Turn on the gas supply: Slowly open the valve on the gas cylinder.
• Adjust the burner knob: Press and turn the burner knob to the start position (usually the highest setting).
• Ignite: Press the ignition button to light the grill. You should hear a clicking sound and see a small flame. If the grill doesn't ignite immediately, wait a few seconds and try again.
• Preheat: Close the lid and let the grill preheat for about 10–15 minutes. The grill should reach a temperature of 200–250°C before you start cooking.
BARBECUE
• Adjust the temperature: Set the heat as needed by turning the burner knob.
• Place food on the grill: Carefully place your food on the grill rack and close the lid to ensure even cooking. Open the lid as rarely as possible to maintain consistent heat.
TURN IT OFF
• Turn off the burners: Rotate the burner knob to the "Off" position.
• Close the gas supply: Turn the gas cylinder valve to the closed position to cut off the gas supply.
• Let it cool: Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning or covering it.
CLEANING
• Clean the grill rack: Use a grill brush to remove food residues from the rack while the grill is still warm.
• Empty the drip tray: Empty the drip tray and wipe it clean if necessary
• Cover the grill: Once the grill has cooled down, cover it with the grill cover to protect it from the elements.
SMART TV
•Plug in the TV: Plug the TV into the power outlet. The cable is located behind the monitor.
•Turn on the TV: Press the power button on the remote control to turn on the TV.
•Open the Home Menu: Press the button with a house symbol on the remote to access the main menu.
•Select the ZATTOO App: Navigate to the ZATTOO app in the menu and select it to access TV programs and content.
ANKER SPEAKER
•Power on: Press and hold the power button (⏻) for 2 seconds until the LED lights up.
•Connect via Bluetooth: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker. The LED will blink blue. Select "SoundCore 2" from the list of available devices. Once connected, the LED will turn solid blue.
•Play music: Use your preferred app to play music. Adjust the volume using the +/- buttons on the speaker. To pause or play, press the Play button (⏯).
•Check battery level: The LED will glow red when the battery is low. Charge the speaker using a Micro-USB cable. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
•Power off: Press and hold the power button until the LED turns off.

CHIEMSEE ISLANDS
The Fraueninsel on Lake Chiemsee is home to the historic Frauenwörth Monastery and is renowned for its idyllic atmosphere and natural beauty. On the Herreninsel, you’ll find the magnificent Herrenchiemsee Palace, built by King Ludwig II and inspired by the grandeur of Versailles.
HIKING & CYCLING
The Chiemsee Circular Trail is 53 km long and winds close to the lakeshore, serving as a combined path for cyclists and pedestrians.
KAMPENWAND
The Kampenwand is a striking mountain, popular for both hiking and cable car rides. At the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Chiemsee and the surrounding region. (From Chiemsee Cottage, you can see the Kampenwand to the south.)
ROSENHEIM
Explore the historic old town of Rosenheim, with its traditional architecture, St. Nicholas Church, and the City Museum.
CHIEMSEE THERMAL SPA
In Bad Endorf, you can relax at the Chiemsee-Therme, offering a large sauna area, thermal pools, and wellness treatments.
GOLF
The Chiemsee Golf Club, just 2.6 km away, features a picturesque course with a challenging 18-hole layout and stunning views of Lake Chiemsee and the Alps.
